The goal of Family and Community Engagement (FACE) is to continue learning and developing meaningful ways to reach out and engage the Bakersfield City School District (BCSD) families. During the FACE professional development, we will collaborate with other district programs and community agencies to share new and updated information as well as resources available to the BCSD families.

Professional development attendance is MANDATORY for all FACE Liaisons. 

Special Back to School Professional Development 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 8/2, 8/3, and 8/4. Meetings will be held in the PDC room on 8/2 and 8/3; on 8/4 in the board room.
